Promise?

Why do people make promises
they don't intend to keep?
Do they make promises
so the other person feels better?
Do they make promises to
get what they want?

What is a promise? Is
it truth? Who knows
how to keep a promise? Is
there anyone in the world
who hasn't broken a promise?

What is the true meaning
of a promise? Why break
a promise? Why not live to
your word? Promise after promise,
my trust for you demolishes.

Is there anyone in the world that hasn't broken a promise? If so, write to me or comment please.

    Hey u...i loved this poem...I don't believe that I have ever broken a promise...except for one...but if I had not...my best friend would have eventually killed herself...I hated that day so much...its still seared in my mind...wow...but she's still here...thank God...i love the poem though...I added sum new poems to my site...check them out sumtime...PLZ!...LOL...bye
