For one day, I wish you could enter my life,
so you can see what I have to go through each day,
to know why my wrist always gently touches a knife,
and depression takes ahold and slowly cuts away,

see what makes me go home every night and cry,
one day to show you everything that happens to me,
to show you why everyday I believe I should die,

For one day, I wish you could enter my life and hear,
hear every terrible word they have said,
every word they've said stays in my head, making it unclear,
every word brings me closer to being dead,

For one day, I wish you could enter my life and feel,
feel all the emotions that everyone rips apart,
every feeling that I feel I wish was never real,
but they are and they just destroy my soul and heart,

If only you could enter my life for one day only,
then you'd realize why I'm glad your not me,
