I'm Afraid

Note: **this is not one of my best...so just bear with me but be honest in your ratings and in your comments. All i like about this poem is the mesage..*sigh* It doesnt flow vrry well but yeaa....***

I'm afraid of what I might see, what I might see in me. I'm afraid of the sun that rises, and the wrath in might bring upon me. I'm afraid of what you've got to say to me, what will this bring?

I'm afraid of the puppies that run in my yard, so carless and so free; for they might turn into vicious beasts and destroy my work of the Lord.

All in all i am afraid, but afraid am I no more, for the strength of the Lord endures through all works of the evil one.

As the devil and his demons claw at the halls of my heart, tryign ot scrape away every inch of me that belongs to the Lord, I know he'll NEVER win!

I'm afraid of the me I am to become, what if I don't choose the path he has for me? What if I mess up and fall to my knees?

I'm afraid of the way I breathe, the way I live. What if the devil gets in and takes over? How will I find my way again?

All in all I am afraid, but afraid am I no more, for he wouldn't put me in this life if He coudln't bring me through it.

As my life comes to an end, it's really just the beginning; for the Lord's got His hand on me and He will help me along the way.
