Sadness Overwhelmed Me

Sadness overwhelms me
but you don't care
you love me any ways
as we wonder in this loneliness
together hand in hand we walk on this path
that seems never ending
not knowing where it leads
or where it ends

Not caring, being together is all we need
this twisted path has led us to a beautiful scene
where we first met, where I found you beneath a tree
where you tried to escape me
but i wouldn't let you go
this darkness brought us together
I will not let you escape

I love you and you love me
and forever I dream for it to be
once sadness overwhelmed me
But because you found me, I am now free
