Tears in Heaven

I'm wondering if anyone noticed
if anyone knew my coming fate
I'm wondering if anyone cared
as I entered thy heavens gate.

God was kind and forgave me
for what I did, I know I sinned
its easy just letting go,
as my tears get carried by the wind.

I believed our love was filled
with sparkling passion
and in your arms I truly felt secure
as my heart had never been broken
before.

I could not delt with all the torture
placed upon my innocent love
as pain from every notion
were heavy upon my shoulders
the pearly gates from heaven
up so high above.

A tender touch from
God's great hands took
away all my self inflicted sores,
as heaven shone so high
above God opened up his doors.

Tears in heaven,
I seen you standing with a rose
as you seen me like a beauty
my wounds were not exposed.

I left my family
too be with you up here
as my cuts were inflicted deeper
becoming more and more severe.

Tears in heaven,
you've been standing in my doorway all this time
as the bell of heaven rings
rings just like a soft sweet chime.

Tears in heaven
waving on clouds so high
its almost like a dream
to be the one that has to die.

Tears in heaven,
feel my pain
understand my every plea
for your the only one on earth
that still looks to the sky
and expects to see me.

Tears in heaven
feelings without hope
as I'm sitting in a corner
on my neck I wear a rope.
