During this life I have gained and I have and multiplied
During this life I have loved and been loved
During this life I have won and I have lost
But above all I had hope
During this life I have prayed and I have cursed
During this life I have used and been used
During this life I have drawn and been erased
But above all I had hope
During this life I have lived everyday and died everyday
During this life I have ignored and been ignored
During this life have taken life unknowingly and given new hope to it
But above all I had hope
During this life I have been happy and I have felt pain
During this life I have been sick and I have been healthy
During this life I have been shot down and I have been picked up
But above all I had hope
But above all I had hope
