Blind Illusions

What if everything I see before me,
was only an illusion from my heart?
Everything I believe in,
Is just an excuse to keep the illusion alive.
I don't want my heart to break.
But my brain is figuring it out.
So if you don't mind,
Could you remind me?
Remind me that you love me,
Tell me that you care.
Let my brain know for sure,
what my heart is feeling true.
Because it seems I can't trust myself anymore.
You're everything I have left.
And I'm blind to any truth.
I'll believe everything you say,
So if you don't mind,
Could you remind me once more?
