Unrequitted Love

Again, a very early poem I wrote.

She loved him
He said he liked her
She thought that they were closer
than he and his ex ever were

He told his friend stuff
she later found out wasn't true
When someone spoke to him about her
He answered with a simple 'who?'

He was all she ever wanted
She loved him so much!
All she wanted was to be with him
to talk and hold and touch

He didn't speak to her for ages
it went from days to weeks to months
And all she could do was watch him
as he sat and ate his lunch

She still loves him
Even though they may never be
But she doubts she'll ever find
someone sweeter or hotter than he!
