Lost Friendship

I thought we were friends
obviously I was wrong
I guess I was right bout you
hating me all along

What did I do wrong
was I really being that bad
I'm sorry if I hurt you
I'm sorry that you're sad

The things you said hurt me
they were so mean it made me cry
And all I wanted to do today
was curl up in a ball and die

Coz without you I have nothing
you really were a true friend
I thought I'd know you forever
and that you'd stick by me till the end

Obviously I was wrong
and now you want nothing to do with me
But without you I have nothing to live for
I don't know why you can't see

Sure some people don't love you
but there's plenty that do
And after the plenty there's even more
and they all love you too

But to have you back it'd make me happy
and my life would be complete
And if you like we can compromise
and in the middle we will meet

And if you don't want to
maybe I'll see you one day
But I'd love to have you back
and that's the way it'll stay
