Some things in life aren't easy
and some things in life aren't fair
But have you ever looked the other way
and wondered what could be there?

Have you ever thought about the pain
caused to a little girl with no life?
Have you ever thought how lucky you are
to even have a wife?

Have you ever seen inside of me
to see the pain in my mind?
Have you ever looked within me
to see the feelings from deep inside?

But what I really want to know is
not what you say or do or think
But really what is inside of you
and what inside you links

People live and people die
but it's you my friend that I will love
Because you were sent to me
from the heavens up above

You have stolen my world
You make me smile when I have a frown
And it's you who has stolen my heart
and turned my life around

I know we cannot be
and that we must be apart
But it's you
who will always be in my heart
