Burdens Of The Useless Soul

by Matters   Nov 29, 2005

Throw the bag upon my back,
Weigh me with an emerald sack,
Leave me by the crystal water,
Sitting on the devil's daughter.

So have me carry all the past,
With heaviness to always last,
Force the sky upon my shoulders,
Torture the pathetic holder.

Laugh and watch me trip and fall,
Watch the black consume it all,
Arched beneath my once bent knees,
Ignoring all my helpless pleas.

So kill me now, who would care?
Was there really love in there?
Finish usage, sick of hurting,
Was I just your useless burden?
