Missing Muse

Sent away
When night was fading
Sent away
When day was dawning

How could they do this
To you, my muse, my sweet?
How could they do this
For you alone I weep

You were my muse
The one to lighten my day
You were my muse
Your words, I long to hear you say

Now, you are gone
Your parents I hate
Now you are gone
For your return, how long must I wait?

I ask you to return soon
No matter what your parents do
I ask you to return soon
For I long to hold you.

This was written to help me remember my long missed Muse, Kitsune-chan. Her parents sent her to an out of state Mental institute and I miss her greatly.She has wonderful poems here, her name is Kit.
