Addiction

It's finally time to take this pill,
I love this part of the day,
It makes me feel all warm inside,
And helps me drift away,

Leaving all my worries behind,
I'm innocent as a child,
Now taking two not one,
The effect of one is mild,

I love this feeling oh so much,
I need it more and more,
Every time I take these pills,
Up in the clouds I soar,

Something weird starts to happen,
I'm spiraling from the sky,
Why'd I take that bottle of pills,
This time I'm going to die,

My heart was racing very fast,
But now it starts to slow,
I never meant for this to happen,
Now its time to go,

Now I'm flying like before,
In the clouds like a dove,
But I cannot return to my body,
My new home is up above
