Merciless Time

by PFC Louderback   Nov 29, 2005

The clock beats it's heart as if it does not know. It shows no mercy to us as we lay in each others arms.
Has the clock never seen love? and what it does to our hearts? To punish our intertwined souls with its Tick-Tock rhythm of misery and soon to be certain truth. How sad am i to know our time fades with every kiss, every glance in the suns slumber, every breath that our bodies let free into the nights air. For when the sun greets it's child with loving arms I will say "Woe is our love and with that i must go, for the sun beckons for my body to travel my road."
