BEAUTIFUL FRIEND

I met her years ago.
She was kind to me.
She introduced me,
To her friends.
We got along,
All of us.
Together there were six.
But no matter what,
She was my beautiful friend.

She showed me kindness,
She showed me friendship.
I couldn't survive without her.

We six got closer.
We told each other things.
Together, we were our own family.
The other four are sisters.
But she was like a caring mother.
If any of us cried,
She would ask what's wrong.
She'd give us hugs and she would tease.
But when needed,
She would be there to listen.

We couldn't live without her.

She'd always try,
To get us to smile.
She always seemed,
To be there for me.
No matter the reasons,
She would stand by me,

Now she's in trouble.
Though I don't know why.
I'm scared.

I want to be by her side.
