I couldn't stop it.
It came.
I felt it start its journey.
And I let it continue:
The lonely tear.
You caused this.
You hurt me again.
Before, I was brave.
There were no tears.
The only loneliness
Was mine.
You let me down.
I thought you cared,
But you proved me wrong.
And the truth of this lays
And will lay forever
With the lonely tear.
And here I sit,
Staring at the lonely tear.
All on its own,
With no company.
There will be yet another someday, I'm sure.
How soon?
Depends on when you decide
To break my heart again.
