Alone

by Brie   Nov 30, 2005

She sits in her room late at night
Scared to death to turn out the light
Shes gone through enough in the past week
Her dad beats her so bad, she can't even speak

Wanting to get out she screams at the pain
Everyday she tries to be happy, but always feels the same

She gets treated so badly, her friends don't care
The pain she feels, she just cannot bear

She goes home and cries herself to sleep
There's nothing else to do but lay there and weep

Her nights are lonely and cold
And as her life begins to unfold
One night she picks up the phone
And hears a voice say
"YOU'VE ALWAYS BEEN ALONE"

**The last line 'YOU'VE ALWAYS BEEN ALONE' was actually said to me by my father. I went through all of this, and still am. I wrote this just to get my feelings out, and then I edited it and it turned out really good. I hope everybody that reads this can see the pain I'm going though every day and night**
