Strangled with a heart string

by Luke   Nov 30, 2005

The first time our paths crossed,
My heart bled for your scars,
We met in the A-Ward,
Forever our house of lies,
The drugs were fed,
Our mouths ate when told,
But the love we sought burned and evolved.
The day was nigh when your heart stopped burning,
Leaving mine cut, slashed and yearning,
Your beauty was lost when lies destroyed,
Everything you made and were tortured with a kiss.
When your beautiful body was lost,
In earth brown and thick,
They had no idea of the unholy cost,
Of which this death would hold to me,
I cut out my eyes so I could not see,
All of the lies that love brings unto me.
