Memories

Here comes the rain again
i'm drenched in memories
that I've tried to forget
none of this you could see

the memories of
heartbreaks and tears,
loses and gains,
and all my fears

memories fall apon my head
ones that have made me cry
why can't it all just disapear
and I always try

here comes the rain again
heavier than before
more memories haunt my dreams
now its beginning pour

as the rain hits my face
flashes of dreams cross my mind
the worst I have seen
the thoughts in my head begin to wind

the rain begins to soften now
the memories begin to fade
the tears begin to stop
what has this all made?

what have I learned from this?
maybe that I need to learn to let go
or life isn't as bad as I make it
what do I have to show?

the rain is gone
the memories have faded
the tears are gone
and my soul is jaded

    Wow, that was an excellent poem. I loved how you made the point that you really have to think about things before you do them because you will always have the memory that it happened to you. That everything, even though it is done and over with that it will always be with you. If not just for a memorie. I loved the end because the way that i understood it, i took it as the pain was gone but the memory was still there. It really relates to real life.
