Her words

by ashleigh   Nov 30, 2005

Through misty eyes and a shattered heart
she stares at this world, each day in pain.
no love nor lust, just complete and utter shame.
Her talents wasted her future gone.
She learned to pretend, to paint on a smile.
hide her fears, hide her tears.
no one would save her, seemed no one cared.
a pen and paper were the only things there.
with no shoulder to lean on, she wrote it all down.
to you the words meant nothing.
but to her they are everything.
each letter written carefully, each one filled with a story.
while you play your gaems and laugh at the strange.
she sits in her corner, always writing, dreaming of the day when you'll finally....understand.
