A Best Friend

A best friend is always there
Through the hard stuff that you have to bear,
But you know that you can face it
Because your friend will not quit.

A best friend always hears
Everything that you have to fear,
From ugly, long snakes
To big, harmful earthquakes.

A best friend will never leave you
For they know they need you too,
You know you have a friend
When they stick by your side to the end.
