Little girl is lost

Running from the darkness
blinded by the light
wanting a taste of freedom
everything seems a fight

living for every moment
scared of letting go
struggling to keep breathing
slowly letting emotions show

constant battles surround me
trying to forget the pain
my body has been consumed
stuck in the pouring rain

a glimpse of hope scatters by
i try to reach out
but thats not enough

Ive lost my identity
drowning in a sea of sorrow
dreading all the minutes
that will lead me to tomorrow

i cant make decisions
don't know how the story ends
still running from a world of hate

the last bell has rang
