The Scream Of The Heart And Soul

by Anthony   Nov 30, 2005

Ignore the sound of my voice,
The high pitched screech of a scream,
The loud noise you hear is nothing
To the sound of the scream in my head.
Be thankful you have never felt the pain,
The pain of rejected love,
The pain of your soul being shattered,
The pain of seeing your bleeding heart,
In the hands of your enemies.
No matter how hard I try,
I can't stop screaming!
My voice may die,
My mouth may be shut,
But I still hear it,
The scream of my life,
My soul,
My heart,
Still screaming inside me,
So that no one can hear.
They've stolen everything that made me human,
Except this scream,
This scream is mine,
I refuse to share it anymore.
When will I stop?
I don't know...
When can you heal a broken soul?

Wow. Very powerful poem. When I was reading this I was like "oh! oh! that's what I feel like! wow! wow!"

Hehe, very good poem. I love the end, it's so powerful. I could immagine how someone would ask : 'when will it stop?" And you answer: "when can you heal a broken soul" That's very amazing.

Excellent :) Thanks for sharing this wonderful poem :)
