This poem is for you

If I could cry it all away, I would,
If I could bleed away your pain, I would,
If anything in the world would help you now, I would find it.

But I am lost and hopeless too.

I cannot ask you to speak when I have no voice,
I cannot take your grief to be my own,
I cannot help you unless you ask me to.

I don't know what to do.

But when I have cried all my tears,
When I have bled my last,
When I have searched the world,

I will still be here for you.

    I saw your quote and gave it a 5 and that led me to your poems. I empathize with you, even though I'm older, and ought to be wiser, love is a stumbling block that come like a roller coaster - ups and downs all the way. Hey, well done I love your honest style of writing.

    Hey, this was a very noble poem in my mind. you'd do all that for one person, but u can't. it's sad, meaningful, and compleetly remarkable. excellent work.

    Really really nice work. I like the optimistic message despite the sombre tone. I also like how you've set this out, with the strongest lines in their own stanza, it makes the whole piece flow well. Nice piece!
