So silent is my voice
no chance to say goodbye
you'll never even know
how i sit alone and cry

so silent are my tears
when they fall to the floor
no one ever sees me
behind my bedroom door

so silent are my screams
no one ever hears
the only sound i make
wrapped within my fears

so silent is my heart
beating alone within
my shadow now my own
a lonely life that will begin

so silent is my life
since you walked away
pain echoes in my mind
filling every day

so silent is my pen
i write of wrenching pain
and empty chair beside me
forever alone again
