The Deceiver

by Kimura   Dec 1, 2005

Her words they drip with honey
That burns my stinging wound
She digs her nails deep
And leaves me with a poison

Her charm it leaves me breathless
As it winds around my throat
It slowly tries to kill me
I weaken everyday

I see her from a distance
I watch her do her witchcraft
That entrances all the men
As I fall under her spell

She sings her lovely lullaby
As she flitters to and fro
Like a feather on the wind
That we all follow

She scratches at my heart
Like a cat
As she sugarcoats her words
And leaves me bleeding

And when she's had her fun
She'll cackle with a song
That I was stupid all along
That I was stupid all along
