Tears of the Moment

Everyday there is a moment,
I think back on the past,
How wonderful life was,
And how I lost it all to fast,

Never does a tear,
Cry for any other reason,
Than that of us,
Two knots tied now undone,

With all the love I gave,
Through my heart and soul,
Crushed so punishably,
As I was told,

I want just one more,
Journey with you,
To fill this emptiness inside,
That's been left long overdue,

When our moment comes to pass,
Hold on tight, please don't flee,
Take it as I wish you wanted,
Unchain these thoughts let them free,

I'll await this time,
For many of years,
Until it comes,
I'll keep shedding these tears.
