Knowing the lie

Sad and so lonely
On my face, a fake smile
Drifting through depression
Knowing people hate my style

Darkness within
Is all the truth I know
While to the world
Only light, I shall show

Deep in my mind
I know my friends lie
Even when they smile
So I ask myself, why?

They lie because they hate you
Is always the reply
They want to hurt you
They want you to cry

What about my family?
I ask the voice inside
They hate you to
I just want to hide

But I know I can't go
People won't let me hide
So with my life I wait
Living with all those that lied
