That day we sat on the couch
you told me we needed to talk
i didn't want to hear what was coming
so i just took a walk
that same night you called me
late at night
i could tell you were crying
when you ended it that night
that night i cried
but not because i lost you
i cried only of a thought
i thought i had loved you
you cried for hours
on the phone with my friend
she said to blame yourself
your the on who put it to an end
you were with her for a while
but she didn't make it better
you just cried even more
and sent me sappy love letters
i never returned one
i was over you
but you still loved me
but today i returned one to you
and it only said one sentence
and that took away all you sunshine
that sentence broke you heart
that sentence simply said
\"you broke your heart not mine\"
