what am i suppose to say
am i suppose to smile
and wave you on your way?

when you leave
what am i suppose to do
hold onto you tight
and tell you how much i love you?

when you leave should i not cry
and say "see you later"
because its to hard to say goodbye?

will the memories fade
will the love
the bond that we made?

who will take your place
life will be so different without
your familiar face

how will i cope
will my dreams become impossible
and my existence left with no hope
