I wish I could say

She is my hero but she doesn't know
I wish I could tell her that I like her so
She possesses this will and incredible drive
The strongest athlete ever alive
Everyday I aspire to be
This amazing girl that I long to see
Skinny and fast and good-looking too
She is incredible! I wish she knew
Such a tragic life, she has had to endure
Her father's cancer, they did not find a cure
Moving forward, day by day
She is so strong but I hope she's okay
What she doesn't know is that I am here
Thinking of her, hoping good things are near
Never have I cared for anyone so
But I just wish there was someway that she could know
I fear for her safety but every single day
Hoping and wishing that things go her way
This is a longing that I've never had
Why can't she be here I miss her so bad!
