The Unbalanced Break-up

by Bradley Peter   Dec 2, 2005

I'm happy that you can move on
That you're a millions miles from down
On you the sun has always shone
On you and your perfect little town

You stroll through life with ease
Cause real problems you don't own
Floating- your life is a breeze
So about the little things you moan

Genuine trouble- before me stands
Pissed off and standing tall
Welcoming with outstretched hands
Just waiting for me to fall

Yet you dance and prance around
Claiming your life to be so hard
Why don't you crouch to the ground
And pick up a real problem card

You don't want me to be gratified
Want me to fall while you fly
And you would have been very satisfied
If in that crash I were to die

You make believe that you care
But you want me to disappear
To hide and cry somewhere
Cause you shiver when my name you hear

You continue with your life
Pretending me-you do not see
While I battle with all the strife
Of the harsh event that before me

I'm not upset because we're dead
But that all the good happens to you
While I'm taking blows to the head
You get luck, where it's not due

Why can't the sun shine on me
Just once, just for a change
The rays dangle in front of me
But constantly out of range
