The writings on the wall

by Nicole Kolman   Dec 2, 2005

The writings on the wall
the reason no one broke her fall
the rope from which she hanged
still slightly blood stained
no one knew the half of her pain

her often thoughts of suicide
which she never did abide
up until that rainy night

the blade so sharp
her life so dark

one slit to the neck
one, two, three drip
one last breath
before her death

the writings on the wall say
her lies one little girl
who lived in her own little world
