Anti-Propellers and Fire Alarms

by Amanda   Dec 2, 2005

Words.
In the form of insults;
Thrown around like paper airplanes.

Is is really that easy?
No regrets, no shame?

You don't realize how much that hurts,
I scream and I yell and I blink red alerts.
But no matter how loud these alarms;
Your eyes.
Just avert.

Then your charm, it disarms, my alerts and my cries.
You take me in your arms and the hurt drains from my eyes.
