Meaning Of Life

Just one simple question,
That I'd like to know.
What is the meaning of life?
What is it we must show?

What are we here for?
We are just a test.
A pot hole in the road,
Nothing more special than the rest.

Why get attached,
To love and care.
Just to leave heartbreak,
When they are no longer there.

Why build a life for yourself,
Just to watch it crumble apart.
Everything you worked for, gone,
Now you're back to the start.

Why punish people,
When they're trying to find their way.
Misinterpreted and lost,
Hoping for a better day.

Why be mad at those we love,
When we are just worried.
A hard way to show you care,
And don't want to be buried.

My real question...
Why live when we will die.
All these years of life,
It's all just a lie

Help me please,
Help me find a meaning.
Because I'm becoming so empty,
I want to feel like a human being.

    Hey, gr8 poem. i think tht if u think tht way u just got to find sumthin to set ur life to. at time the only thing thts stops me from ending it all is the duty i feel i have look after my youngest sister. in the mean time i just indulge my mind (poetry, literature, pjilosophy, music, politics) and enjoy org@sms, booze, andeverything else tht is good in the world. just find out what makes u happy, what road u want to go down and enjoy ur life whilst u can.
