Meet The Sisters (Part Two: Spring)

by Nada & Kris   Dec 2, 2005

*Collaboration, Nada started and Katie wrote every other stanza thereafter*

As the sun rises from the east
Marking the end of my sisters job
It my time now
As the first flowers blossom

Soft grass blowing softly in the wind
Touching things softly to make beauty apply
My sister season has passed now I create
Rays of golden sunshine streaking the sky

I hear children laughing
See the flowers blooming
A lullaby of flowers
And rebirth of life

From the sky a raindrop falls
Flowers spread beautiful aromas
Passing by like a shooting star
Leaves swaying softly in the breeze

I see the rivers and streams
Engaging with each other
Waterfalls and islands
A world of true beauty

Waves of the waterfalls sing
Like a lullaby in a dream
Dandelions & daffodils
Dancing beside the stream

Mesmerizing to the world
such happiness i bring
this world is so beautiful
but i can feel the passion coming

Birds are chirping softly
I look back on what I've done
My sister will bring more beauty
Until next time, I've had my fun

I very much like the idea of writing about seasons, and both of you are very talented, the only thing I didn't like is how often you used the same words in description. like flowers you mentioned them like three times, if you ponder your poem a while you might be able to project the same point you intended but say it differently and more intriguing> I might just be rambling though, and take my comment however, in the end I enjoyed it very much, and read it several times
