Forever there

Looking up at the moonlit sky,
I envy it.
So bright, so calm
And no matter what, it appears each night without fail.

Whereas my world is the opposite
Flooded by darkness and tears
Driving away whatever is left of peace and happiness
With the lack of knowing if I'm going to survive another night
From the torture of my heart and soul Which has destroyed me for all of eternity

Or at least until the moonlit sky disappears forever
