Do you ever have that heavy heart?
Full of unexplainable feelings of despair,
Slightly countered by the sparse presence of hope?

I do.

Only with you can I smile again
Look at the world in a different light.
When you are near I am at peace with myself.
Hope and excitement fill my heart to the brim.

But once you leave, the familiar fear returns
This time much worse than before.
Because without you I just don’t fit right
In this complex and discouraging world

It is your heart that seems to call out to mine
And when we are together it is pure harmony
But what to do when I find myself apart from you?
All I can do is hold out for our soon to come
Inseparable
And fully
