Faded Photograph

You are on my mind,
This I cannot control.
I want to be with you,
With all my heart and sole.

I get butterflies,
And I cannot eat.
It was destiny,
That we should meet.

I took in my hand,
the faded photograph,
Of me and you,
And start to laugh.

We were so happy,
Just you and me.
Holding each other,
For all to see.

The picture was different,
It was once bright.
Then the light faded,
When you left from my sight.

Nothing is the same,
Since I'm without you.
My world has no color,
And I don't know what to do.

Picture perfect,
Fairytale if you say.
that was us,
Only not like today.

This faded photograph,
I finally put away.
In hope to be,
Taken out another day.

Maybe you will feel the same.
and one day love me too!
And my picture won't be faded,
But instead brand new!
