Never Meant Like This

Agony resides
in this place I call hell
My journey in this life
only scars can tell

I am just a girl
whose life is always shattered
That girl who had hopes and dreams
that never even mattered

Upon these wrists
your name is written in blood
The tears youve caused me to cry
have seemingly started to flood

My blade, my release
to all of my pain
Caused me to cut too deep
into the wrong vain

So I sit and reminisce
of times now gone by
And I think to myself
how funny it is that I cry

Because this is what you wanted
from the beginning it was true
You looked into my eyes and lied
and told me "I love you"

What a fool I was
to actually believe your word
And now for it, Im screaming inside
yet not a thing is heard

So with blood dripping down my arm
I beg of you, one more kiss
Cause I always said Id die for you
but I never meant like this

    I just went through the worst break up in my life, when I was so sure I had found true love, and then he left me without saying goodbye, then I tried to kill myself, and obviously I am still alive, but that was the biggest mistake I even made, just for some idoit, so pathedic lier, so yeah I know what you mean in this poem, maybe more than you meant it to mean, but either way I really loved it! Great job hun!
