The End of the Rainbow

Depression obsesses my brain
and I can't get over you
you put me through
this aching pain
the hurt I felt
if you only knew.

We used to live together
in our world of make believe
you left me standing with
our unicorns
all alone watching the washed seas.

You used to buy me candy
you used to send me a red rose
but this happiness wasn't real
for you were to scared to propose.
all this new pain I seem to feel.

We use to hold eachothers hands
you claimed it would bring us closer
are love was completely sensational
there was nothing we couldn't concur

With unicorns and dragons
we were content with what we had
but the unicorns left me
as these days I cry alone so sad.

Where did all are love go?
why did the fire burn out?
what is love,
what is life about?

buy me the ocean
buy me the sea
lets go back
to the way things use to be.

It's the end of the rainbow
the rainbow we used to create
it's the end of the rainbow
for what not my unicorn
must always await.

It's the end of the rainbow
my tears are making me die
it's the end of the rainbow
my unicorns will no longer fly.

Don't leave me crying on the stairs
take me away and be my prince
its the end of the rainbow
no longer since.

my roses no longer grow wild
they died inside of me
its the end of the rainbow
i've cut myself to try to be free.

no angels in my gracious world
no angels anywhere
its the end of the rainbow
for i am crying in despair.

No longer do the roses grow
it's the end, of an endless rainbow.
