She Cuts

The pain is running off her skin.
she's shaking from the water drops off her face.
she's been looking like she's in a trance.
her brown eyes look up at the sky.
the water coming down and hitting her face.
dripping in water but yet something more.
as she walks in the room shutting the door.
her jeans a soaked but no one notices.
her eyes are blood shot but no one notices.
her face is turning blue but no one notices.
she moves her arms to clean her cuts.
she cuts herself in her sleep.
she cuts herself in the rain.
anywhere it should be hidden.
but tonight her mom sees it.
inside and out there's a story.
and her mom is the one who started it all.
