Failure

by Jolene   Dec 3, 2005

She's a failure at everything she can do,
Even she knows that it's true.
On her bed she lies,
Holding back the tears for she's about to cry.
To be accepted is the one thing she wants.
The pains of rejection, how it does haunt.
Having no ones say "I'm proud of you,"
Can make you give up fairly soon.
If she does one thing wrong she gets yelled at,
So she runs to the comfort of her calico cat.

She sits in her blue jeans, trying to rhyme,
But I can tell you this, she ain't no imaginary friend of mine.
