I did my crying yesterday
Got rid of all that pain
Dried my tears, suppressed my fears
Made time to build walls again

I did my crying yesterday
But Ive dried it all up now
Put on my make up, gave myself a shake up
Been here before, so I know how

I did my crying yesterday
So today I have a smile
Face whats ahead, no lying in bed
Ill be fine, at least for a while

I did my crying yesterday
Today there is a new me
Safe at a distance, full of resistance
Now you cant get near me you see

I did my crying yesterday
Today Ill feed my pride
Be kind to myself and stay on the shelf
In a place I know I can hide
