Blessed Dove

***I wrote this poem for my brother and (soon-to-be... TOMORROW!) sister-in-law's wedding.***

Hearts with mending stitches
Will always keep together
Through all times in life
They'll live and beat forever...

Ribbons laced in red
Streaming with perfect care
Graceful doves, pure and white,
Flying through the air

A bouquet of priceless flowers
Kept in warming hands
Witness flying arrows
As baby cupid lands

Notes of endless joy
Played on porcelain keys
Like the sound of humming angels,
Breathing a winter's breeze

Chimes of silver, laced in gold
Dance to the tick of time
Keeping in all harmony
Waltzing with true rhyme

Lowing down the aisle
A pure beauty in satin white
She follows a trail of roses
Keeping all faith in sight

As handsome as can be,
He's waiting for his bride
Holding now their hands,
Forever side~by~side

Having found felicity,
The bells begin to ring
Blessing now their love,
The dove of fate forver sings
