Yield

by Aidyn   Dec 4, 2005

Then it is Saturday I
See I must learn to yield...
For avoiding the search
A chrysalis shield

Give me apathy
For a pain cannot grow
Should it conceal daggers
That no one shall know

I vow redemption
But beg for remorse
Fate is a river
Let chance run its course

See my soul as it is
Become yourself a recluse
Your equivocal smile
Begs for unjust misuse

Forgive my forgiveness
Thoughts fashionably late
A hymn for a choir
Slow-growing c(h)oral, abates

Then it is someday that I
See I must learn to yield...
For evading a madness
Comes a scar-tissue shield

The trials of love...
