Your Lies, My Love, Our Kindered Spirit

by PurrBox   Dec 4, 2005

You held me close,
You held me tight,
You told me everything
Would be alright.

You`d call my name,
I`d do the same.
You`d give me hugs,
And playful tugs,
You`d give me piggy-back rides,
You were my life.

You left me so,
Not long ago,
I stayed in place,
To see your face.

You`d give me looks,
I`d give you smiles,
You`d run off with her,
I`d stay put for a while.

I tried to call,
You didn`t answer,
I tried to talk to you in the hall,
But you were always with her.

You were my love,
You were my life,
And now you`ve taken me
With your knife.

Stabbed in the heart,
One too many times,
Now we must part,
From our deathly crime.

I sit here today,
Wondering what I did wrong,
Why you went away,
Why it didn`t last long.

Your name is still engraved,
In my heart which you broke,
I still wear the necklace you gave,
And the ring you gave me I saved...
