You don't care

by ShadowDancer   Dec 4, 2005

You all try to act like you care
When I meet you and I'm in tears
But you look at me out of the corner of your eye
What if depression is contagious you fear

You say I'm doing it for attention
What kind of a friend says that?
I got plenty of attention before hand
People whispering "God she looks fat"

Whenever I go to the bathroom
To regurgitate my last meal
You look at each other nervously
But act like it's no big deal

You all act so sympathetic
When you see my legs coved with cuts
But as soon as I'm gone you all gossip
About how you think I've gone nuts

You tell all your parents about me
And all you're friends out of school
You say you wish I would just leave you alone
To be seen with me just isn't cool

Well guess what? Soon it won't matter
You can rip me to shreds if you dare
Because soon I won't be able to hear you
Besides when I'm dead I won't care

So true they should care about my dear ruby :(
I wish i could be right by your side and tell them where to stick it.
You'll find people who deserve you, cause they obviously dont.
I used to go to ppl and they'd just walk away from me, and be complete bittttccchhhhheeeessss.
But I found new friends, but soon they'll be taken away from me too.
But for now, your poetry is perfected and your voice should be heard.
    love

Amazing poem, so full of anger and sadness....No one deserves to be treated like that and those who say these things, aren't really friends...Hope you feel better??
