A Smile Could Save A Life

First day of Junior High
The Worst Day of My life
All alone in the world
No Familiar faces......

Walking through the classes
Hearing laughter and fun
But my heart full of sorrow and cry
Is louder......

Thinking about Life
How sad it is
Ever since I lost my best friend
I got blind......

Then I saw a familiar face
Smiling at me
And when i said hi
She said hi back.....

I started talking to her
She made me feel welcome
I wasn't afraid to tell her anything
She filled my mind with happiness....

She could tell if I'm sad or hurt
She made the tears go away
Everytime I saw her face
I would smile.....

But sometimes she scares me
Afraid if she'll let me go
If you love them you should let them go
But what if you love them more than ANYTHING......

Afraid to be dumped again
All I wanna do is love her forever
Hug her everytime I see her
But I don't know if forever is a long time......

She made me cry on my birthday
She would give me advice when I needed it
And as the days go
I realize that I found my soul sister.......

A best friend always stays a best friend
I'll be there at her 18th birthday
I'll be there when she gets married
I'll travel across the world and search for her......

And I'll know by her smile......
