My tears are making me die

I ran away from Heaven
when I was just a child
God's touch could create fireworks
so tender, so soft and so mild.

I knew about a self confident girl
she had the power to make her
own self smile, but her tears that always seemed to leak, were never much worthwhile.

I sat at Heaven's gates,
wanting to break free
for the Heaven turn to hell
in this heart deep inside of me.

Ashes to ashes
dust to dust
everything so at stand still
sitting in unjust.

My parents went out that night
so I was sitting to watch t.v
I never knew about this darkened
creature burning a hole in me.

Daddy forgot to lock the backdoor
Mommy forgot the chain
as now I'm just a dead soul
another worthless blood stain.

He snuck in the backdoor
crept behind my back
killing me perfection
as his knife was the attack.

My body laid there broken
my blood so much aleak
my hand was hardly moving
I was breathing rather weak.

I sat at Heavens gates
wanting to break free
for this heaven turned to hell
so deep inside of me

My murderer where was he?
was he still lingering in the night?
slaughtering innocent children
with a knife that shines so bright?

Mommy started crying
daddy just stood there
picking up pieces of my body
the ones they could repair

Little did they know
that my heart had already stopped
my body had lost to much blood
my temperature had dropped.

When my murderer looked into my face and cut out my every eye
I could not break free
my tears are making me die.

I sit at heavens gates
wanting to break free
because there's no such thing as heaven when your living inside of me.
